1.Cargo Management

In addition to completing the registration of basic information, the use of the UCargo platform also requires the prior registration of details such as shipping origins, waypoints and destinations. This information can subsequently be used to determine the cargo transportation progress, and to set up automatic triggers that initiate the cargo transportation trip when the goods depart the origin and end the cargo monitoring and tracking when the goods reach the destination.

1.1.Node Management

Node management refers to the points in a cargo transportation trip: origin, waypoints and destination.

You can set a transportation node as a circular area or a polygonal area.

Note: Transportation nodes share information with the warehouse data in LEAVE, and the nodes created in the LEAVE system can also be directly used in the UCargo system.

Once the creation is completed, we can proceed to plan the transportation routes next.

1.2.Route Management

Route management involves connecting transportation nodes in the sequence of origin, waypoints and destination for users to follow when dispatching goods. Routes are an essential element of UCargo’s business, as the system can automatically determine transportation progress and complete transportation tasks through the nodes.

When setting a route, you can enable route analysis. The purpose of enabling this function is to ensure that goods are transported in accordance with the predetermined route. If the route is deviated from, the system will generate a route deviation alert through GIS analysis. The deviation threshold corresponds to the route width.

In addition, when setting a route, you can enter a preset estimated transportation duration for the route to assist in analyzing transportation progress. The system will subsequently make dynamic corrections based on the actual transportation duration to make the transportation duration more accurate.

Once the route is set up, you can view it in the route management module and select it when assigning transportation tasks.
