1. Add Scheduled Task Module

The scheduled task function can realize functions such as generating reports regularly and backing up data periodically.

After selecting an “Organization”, you can view the list of scheduled tasks that have been created for the current organization and perform maintenance operations on the created scheduled tasks.

Click the “Add” button to add a new scheduled task.

You can group scheduled tasks, and well-organized groups make it easier to manage the scheduled tasks.

In the red box of the following figure, you can select the list of devices associated with the scheduled task.

You can choose the type of report generation, which is consistent with the type of exported report, supporting PDF and Excel formats.

Finally, you can also set up email notifications for the generated scheduled tasks (note that this will consume your email sending quota).

The scheduled task service supports two modes: one-time trigger and periodic trigger.

One-time trigger: executes only once.

Periodic trigger: triggers cyclically when the trigger conditions are met.

Through the conditions in the red box of the following figure, you can customize the data query interval, such as querying the last X days or X months.

If it is a one-time trigger, you only need to set the trigger time point. Note that the trigger time point must be at least 10 minutes later than the current time to ensure that the system can accurately load the scheduled task.

If it is a periodic trigger, you can select the trigger conditions, such as a specific date of each month or a specific day of each week.

The following examples illustrate:

(1) Back up the trajectories of all devices from the previous month to the server on the 1st day of each month. You only need to configure it like this.

In this way, the system will automatically back up the positioning data of all devices to the server on the 1st day of each month.

Subsequently, you only need to download the required data from the execution records.

(2) Send the current real-time positioning information to a specific email address at a specific time.
